We are happy to announce that we now support more phone models with iodéOS. 🥳 You guys have been asking for it and we worked hard on making it a reality!
The new phone models are the Google Pixel 4 and 5 as well as the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.
“So you’re developing a de-googled OS but now you’re selling Google phones?”
Seems counterintuitive, right? The simple reason is that Pixel devices have really good hardware components and are robust, powerful smartphones as such. We just don’t agree with the privacy-invasing software (Operating System and Apps) that is preinstalled.
That’s why we are developing our own vision of what a modern, privacy-respecting and great to use mobile Operating System should be like. The result of our efforts is iodéOS (based on Android 12) and so far, the feedback we get from reviews and from our customers is pretty good. It seems that we’re onto something here.
So if you want to have a high-end smartphone on the hardware level and want to protect your privacy and data, maybe a Pixel or another phone model from our shop is for you.
The OnePlus 9 Pro is another high-end smartphone with the Snapdragon 888 processor. It has a built-in quadruple Hasselblad camera and comes with a with a 6.7-inch OLED display.
Both models have a 4500-mAh-Battery that also supports wireless charging. For storage, you can choose between the 128 GB and the 256 GB version.
The OnePlus 9 has a triple camera, so no tele camera but the same ultra wide angle camera. The main camera sensor is also a different model. It is a bit slower than the Pro model, but still a very fast smartphone.
The OnePlus models are currently the most powerful smartphones we have to offer in our shop.
