From production testing to your hands
The production tests were completed in February. In this critical phase, 150 BraX3 devices were rigorously evaluated before moving into full-scale production, ensuring that every BraX3 device meets high standards for quality, performance, and durability. Unlike most devices with stock Android, having a device with iodéOS doesn’t mean having to give up the two-year warranty that comes with a new device. Furthermore, to this day, iodéOS still offers monthly software updates for every device we’ve added support to, even devices from 2017 like the Samsung Galaxy A5.
Quality Assurance: Extensive Testing Underway
To guarantee reliability, a series of tests were conducted on the components most vulnerable to failure:
✅ Touchscreen Durability Test – Repeated stress testing ensures the BraX3 touchscreen remains responsive and accurate over prolonged use.
✅ Button Durability Test – Every button is tested to withstand thousands of presses to ensure long-term functionality.
✅ USB Port Durability Test – The charging and data transfer ports undergo repeated insertions and removals to ensure a secure and reliable connection over time.
✅ Battery Life Test – We simulate real-life usage to confirm the battery meets our expectations for longevity and performance.
Production & Shipping Timeline
With testing progressing smoothly and full-scale production underway, the first batches of the Brax3 Privacy phone with iodéOS should be shipped to customers in April. We’ll provide further updates as we move closer to final quality control checks, assembly, packaging and shipping!
