Spam calls, meet your match: iodéOS now blocks them worldwide

News

Unwanted calls know no borders — and neither does iodé protection. Spam calls are now automatically blocked worldwide.

Whether it’s scam attempts or aggressive telemarketing, unwanted numbers are filtered out before they can reach you, wherever you are in the world.

Protection that stays up to date

To keep pace with the constantly evolving spam landscape, blocklists are updated regularly with no action required:

  • Premium users receive daily updates for near real-time protection.
  • Free users receive updated blocklists with every monthly OTA system update.

An additional layer of security

No call data is sent to external servers. Everything is processed locally on your device, automatically and transparently.

Built directly into iodéOS, this feature complements the protection already provided for Internet communications by extending security to your phone calls.

A quieter phone, anywhere in the world

With this improvement, iodé further advances its mission: making mobile communication cleaner, safer, and free from interruptions.

Spam calls know no borders. Fortunately, neither does iodé protection.

Note for Premium users: With the June iodéOS update, Premium account synchronization has been unified between the iodé blocker app and the Phone app. Accounts are now managed centrally in Android system settings under Settings → Passwords, passkeys & accounts.

As a precaution, please check that you are still signed in to your account after the update.
